The Aaron C. Fischer Memorial Methodist Church was founded by the son one of Canada’s most racist educators and ministers. Today, the first Methodist church in Detroit lies abandoned with the ironic phrase “And though shalt have good success, and you shall say God did it” plastered across its balconies.
