Forgotten but not gone
Preservation through Art.
Each year in America, 300,000 buildings are demolished, many of them historical. As new construction continues to increase, the beauty and ornamentations of older buildings disappears along with their story. At Great Lakes Urbex, our goal is simple, preservation. We will always fight for preservation and historically accurate renovations of each of the buildings we photograph. In situations where this is not possible, our goal is it tell the story of these buildings so that, in some form, they can be preserved. In some instances, names may be withheld in order to protect buildings from vandals or scrappers.
